My first impression of London is somewhat mixed. There are some aspects that I was very concerned by, somethings that I was fascinated by, and some things that I think I could grow to love. 

The things I found to be concerning include how many people in London smoke. Smoking in the United States (from what I have encountered) is not very common, and I've always been told that its bad for you. However, most of the people here smoke or vape. Another thing I found concerning is how many women walk around alone and even more concerning the women who walk around alone with airpods in. This is something I would never do! I'm the youngest of four girls and growing up my dad always taught us that we should never be alone especially in a big city.

The things I found fascinating mainly relate to travel. I love how many people use public transportation, or walk/bike to where they are going! I wish that was more common in the United States because it is so much more environmentally friendly! Speaking of environmentally friendly I love how conscious they seem with recycling, this is something we are getting better at, but I've learned that we could be using more ideas like how the caps on most beverages are attached to ensure they are recycled. 

I think I could grow to love the business of the city, its very unlike what I'm used to but with time I could be!

Overall, I am enjoying my time here but I am definitely missing home! I'm sure if my sister wasn't sending me daily pictures of my cats that I would be ready to fly back home to check on them!
