Once class was over today we had basically a whole day free to explore London. I was in charge of deciding how Jake and I would spend our final day in London, we had talked all week about how Jake wanted to see Buckingham palace and how I wanted to see the aquarium, and go inside tower bridge. We could have easily just done the two things that I wanted to do for the day, however I took the time to find the fastest route to get us to Buckingham palace after we went through the aquarium. 

The reason this is something I'm proud of is because Jake was very insistent that we could just do whatever I wanted to since I missed out on a lot of sightseeing so that I could help take care of him with his motion sickness. Yet, he was missing out on the experience as well and it was worth it for me to miss out on one activity so that he could enjoy the trip as well. 

I'm not sure if we will ever find ourselves back in London, but I am very glad that this experience happened. It was even better that my fiance was able to be there with me! Like how many people get to say they went on study abroad with the love of their life!
